Ambassadors

To help raise the awareness of the Southern Stars Charitable Trust's ongoing charity work - we are pleased to introduce our celebrity ambassadors.

Kiel McNaughton - Actor, Shortland Street

KielKia ora! I’m Kiel McNaughton. I am an actor, husband and father to 2 beautiful children. As an actor and being in the public eye I feel it is my duty to bring public attention to worthy causes and organizations and I am honored to be associated with Southern Stars Charitable Trust.

As a father I understand the need to provide assistance to disabled and disadvantaged children and their families and Southern Stars’ “Kids In Show Seats” is a fantastic way of bringing entertainment and aroha into their lives.

Amelia Reid - Actress, Shortland Street

Amelia

Kia Ora,

My name is Amelia Reid - I am an actress and I am currently working on Shortland Street.

One of my biggest passions is Youth and more directly Drama and Youth! I think theatre is a fantastic tool to create forums and spark dialogue that we might not talk about normally! It encourages us to dream big and to enter into the world of imagination - which can be both therapeutic and mind opening.

I feel very privileged to be associated with The Southern Stars Charitable Trust - I think it us wonderful that they are using such a vibrant and alive art form to encourage awareness and offer support to special needs and disadvantaged children.

Frankie Adams - Actress, Shortland Street

Frankie

Hey! My name is Frankie Adams and I am currently an actress on Shortland Street. I am so pleased to be able to be part of the Southern Stars Trust, an organisation that does great work for kids!

I love children and I really believe that having a positive childhood is an important part of growing up to be a healthy and responsible adult. I believe having experiences such as the ones that Southern Stars puts on gives young people an amazing way to be creative and build confidence and interact with peers. I am really looking forward to working with Southern Stars!
