Studio 2 LIVE

Matt Gibb
Matt Gibb has been a familiar face on NZ television screens for the last 10 years. Starting out as sidekick to a computer generated penguin on TV2’s Squirt, he now present’s Studio 2 LIVE every afternoon with Dayna Vawdrey and Jordan Vandermade. A massive football fan, Matt’s dream job would be water-boy for the All Whites! Matt loves being a part of the Studio 2 LIVE team, and for past few years has been working as a writer and director for the show, as well as presenter. “I love working in TV, it’s a great opportunity to meet some incredible kiwis and share their stories with the country!”
Dayna Vawdrey
Dayna launched Studio 2 LIVE along with Matt way back in 2004. Before then she had been presenting on a music channel, and studying at South Seas school of Film and Television. She’s the oldest of 4 sisters, and has Samoan, Canadian, and English heritage! Dayna has a lovely and warm personality, and loves helping people achieve their dreams.
Jordan Vandermade
Jordan is in his 4th year working as a television presenter, and was discovered due to his athletic career. Jordan won a bronze medal at the World Junior Athletics championships in Beijing in 2006 as a 19 year old! Having seen Jordan interviewed about his athletic achievements, Studio 2 LIVE offered Jordan a job! He’s gone on to present prime time show “The Singing Bee” and One Sport’s coverage of the Heineken Tennis Open and ASB Classic.
Faye Smythe - Actor, Shortland Street
I'm Faye Smythe and I’m an actor. At the moment I’m currently working on a production called Shortland Street and I have been for the past 3 years.
I love drama and I love acting, I think it’s a fantastic art. I’d love to be a part of this organization as I really believe in young people taking part in drama workshops and productions as an extra-curricular activity and at school. It’s so beneficial for confidence, self-esteem, communication and creativity. I’ve done drama since a young age and still enjoy it. I had and still have a lot of support from family, friends and teachers and I would love to be able to share the knowledge and support I have gained through drama and my career so far with all of you guys!
Kiel McNaughton - Actor, Shortland Street
Kia ora! I’m Kiel McNaughton. I am an actor, husband and father to 2 beautiful children. As an actor and being in the public eye I feel it is my duty to bring public attention to worthy causes and organizations and I am honored to be associated with Southern Stars Charitable Trust.
As a father I understand the need to provide assistance to disabled and disadvantaged children and their families and Southern Stars’ “Kids In Show Seats” is a fantastic way of bringing entertainment and aroha into their lives.
